- Technology stack: general ledger system, asset aggregator, bill pay system, document manager (shared at your discretion)
- Philanthropy information: philanthropic vehicle details, foundation/charity names and websites, areas of focus
- Profile picture (optional)
2.2 Information Generated Through Use
As you use the Platform, we collect:
- Events: events you create, attend, or interact with
- Messages: content of messages exchanged with other members through the Platform's messaging system
- Manager directory contributions: manager listings you add and your follow/association preferences
- Notes: private notes you create about other members
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
We may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns through our hosting and authentication providers. We do not currently use first-party analytics or tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide access to the member directory and enable networking between family office professionals
- Facilitate event creation, attendance tracking, and event-related notifications
- Enable messaging between members
- Send transactional emails (event invitations, reminders, join notifications)
- Display member profiles and family office information to other authenticated members
- Maintain Platform security and enforce rate limits
- Improve the Platform and develop new features
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 With Other Members
Certain information is visible to other authenticated members of the Platform, including your name, position, family office name, and information you have chosen to share (such as investment focus, technology stack, and philanthropy details). Private notes you create about other members are visible only to you.
4.2 With Service Providers
We use the following third-party service providers to operate the Platform:
- Clerk — authentication and identity management
- Convex — database hosting and serverless backend
- Vercel — web application hosting
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Stripe — payment processing (when applicable)
